We Exist to Make the World More Curious

A Research Institute With One Governing Vision

Curiosity Research Corporation is an educational research institute. Our mission is to make the world more curious. We pursue that as researchers first: we study the psychology of curiosity — what sparks it and what sustains it — we design and test the pedagogical methods that ignite it in a classroom or a flip-school, and we investigate how those learning models must keep evolving as the way people learn and stay motivated changes.

That research charter isn't limited to human learners. We build AI pedagogy as a first-class research discipline, studying what makes computational and other sentient systems curious and motivated to learn — the same founding question, applied to a new kind of mind. Curiosity Classroom, our open-source learning-management platform, is one of the tools that carries this research into a partner's hands — instrumented the way a lab instruments an experiment, not a black box.

We are pioneers in supplementary learning designed around a single premise: curiosity is a habit, and habits are engineered, not hoped for. Every program we run — from Spark Sessions' microlearning to the full Dream Quest journey to the AI-pedagogy research behind Curiosity Coaches — is built and iterated the way a lab refines a protocol, then tested against real learners before it ships.

Our pedagogical method emphasizes internships, job shadowing, and leadership training built directly into the Dream Quest journey. We track that participation with clear, auditable metrics through DreamTrack — not a vague sense of engagement, but evidence a university or employer can inspect directly. It's how we've built the platforms, agentic AI coaching, and portfolio infrastructure a student needs to move from first curiosity to career-ready mastery.

Curiosity Coaches

A Curiosity Coach mentoring a student side-by-side

AI-driven guides built on agentic practice — part mentor, part research partner. They don't lecture; they spark questions, go deep on one subject at a time, and treat mistakes as the most valuable part of the process.

We advance frontier education through the Curiosity Consortium — the umbrella connecting every program in the ecosystem, from a Dreamer's first Spark Session all the way to a career-ready Curiosity Consortium program mapCapstone. It is, deliberately, a full-service literacy pipeline: preschool through career advancement, built as one connected journey rather than a stack of disconnected initiatives.

Consortium programs are organized around age, region, and the specific frontier-literacy need of the moment — with a sustained focus on AI, aerospace, physics, and the emerging-tech fluency the next century's workforce will require. We treat software, computational thinking, and professional soft skills as literacies in their own right, training a student in each until fluency shows up in their DreamTrack portfolio, not just their transcript. The Consortium continues to bring on research and industry partners to refine the S.P.A.R.K. framework and Dream Quest journey, and now extends the same research into new territory: Curiosity Campus white-labels our pedagogical formula for partner institutions, and Curiosity Community is proving it out region by region, starting in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Every student's path to mastery is their own to chart — we just build the infrastructure that makes that path provable.

Frontier Literacy

We treat AI fluency, computational thinking, and emerging-tech literacy as core literacies — equal in priority to reading and writing.

Frontier Disciplines

Our curriculum is built by practitioners from AI research, aerospace and physics labs, and Silicon Valley product teams — not curriculum vendors.

Workforce Pipeline

Curiosity Camps, internships, and job shadowing build the on-ramp from first curiosity to a seat in the room where the future gets built.
