We unite women with practical tools, community-building practices, and sustainable strategies for their families, with expertise in the MENAP region, Asia, and the Americas. We teach the fundamentals of bootstrapping and the strategies that make small, self-funded businesses succeed.

Owning a micro-business is a journey that connects women to cultures all throughout the world. The struggle, the success, and the process build strong character and define empowered entrepreneurs. The Silk Women™ is a Curiosity Corp program that directly helps women and children learn business and financial literacy — skills we treat as foundational, not secondary, to the frontier disciplines the rest of Curiosity Corp teaches.

We also emphasize the role family plays in economic outcomes, helping households build the literacy and stability that let every member pursue their own path forward. We have a support network of volunteers who give their time to this program, including coaches with real business experience who mentor participants directly.

The Silk Women™ initiative focuses our broader mission on the specific needs of women pursuing business ownership and financial independence in their communities. Our tools and coaching are available online, which lets the program reach participants well beyond where we can be in person, and the community continues to grow.
