These Payment Terms explain how donations and other payments made to Curiosity Research Corporation through www.curiositycorp.org are processed, and what you agree to when you submit a payment.
How Payments Are Processed
Payments and donations submitted through our website are processed through Stripe, a secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment platform. We do not store your full card number on our own servers. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information, including your name, email address, and billing address, so that your payment can be processed and a receipt can be issued.
Recurring Donations
If you elect a recurring (monthly) donation, your payment method will be charged automatically on the same day each month until you cancel. You may cancel or modify a recurring donation at any time by contacting us; changes take effect on the next billing cycle.
Tax-Deductibility (Pending)
Curiosity Research Corporation's 501(c)(3) application is pending IRS determination, so contributions are not yet tax-deductible; if exemption is granted, they may be deductible retroactively to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless explicitly stated at the time of your contribution. A confirmation email serves as your donation receipt; retain it in case contributions become deductible upon approval.
Payment Errors
If you believe a payment was processed in error — for example, a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount — please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and correct it. See our Refund Policy for how corrected or erroneous charges are handled.
Modifications
We may amend these Payment Terms from time to time; please review them periodically. Your continued use of our payment and donation tools after any such changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
