Original Investigation, Not a Lab Worksheet
INSTAR Lab is where Curiosity Corp's Dreamers practice research the way our own AI, physics, and aerospace practitioners do it — forming a real question, running the investigation, and defending the result.
- Original inquiry across AI, physics & emerging tech
- Findings documented like a lab protocol
- Feeds directly into DreamTrack & the Capstone
Most school science stops at reproducing a known result. INSTAR Lab starts one step earlier: a Dreamer picks a real, open question inside AI, physics, or another emerging-tech discipline, and works it the way a research team would — literature first, hypothesis second, method third. It's the "Research" letter in S.P.A.R.K. made into an entire program.
Every investigation is documented the way a lab documents a protocol — method, findings, and what would need to change to falsify the result. That discipline matters twice over: it teaches Dreamers what real research looks like before they ever set foot in a university lab, and it produces the kind of portfolio-grade evidence that DreamTrack is built to hold and a Capstone review can actually verify.
INSTAR Lab is deliberately open-ended rather than curriculum-paced. A Dreamer's question can run for a single Curiosity Camp sprint or carry across several stages of the Dream Quest journey — the point isn't finishing on schedule, it's practicing the habit of genuine inquiry until it becomes second nature.
